PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU BEGIN THE APPLICATION PROCESS
Social Justice Fellows must be at least 18 years of age and not older than 35 years of age by October 1, 2023. Fellows must also currently reside in the United States. For full consideration, each applicant must be able to provide documented evidence of experience leading on issues of social justice or within social change movements.
All learning activities for the program will be hosted virtually via various digital platforms (e.g., Zoom; GoogleMeets; YouTube; etc.). For the first eight weeks of the program, Fellows will need to dedicate approximately three to four hours to the Program:
• 60-75 Minutes – Weekly Lectures (typically on Thursdays at 7pm CT)
• 60-75 Minutes – Weekly Peer-Led Discussion Groups (various days/times)
• 60-75 Minutes – Research and Capstone (between weeks 3 and 8)
• 60-75 Minutes – Learning Journeys (e.g., special workshops; independent learning; etc.)
After the initial 8-week period, Fellows will dedicate their time to independently continuing learning journeys, as well as working on research and capstone projects. The Cohort will meet in Washington, DC (dates TBD) as the culminating capstone activity.
