The Memorial Foundation’s Films at the Stone of Hope returned on Friday, July 18, with
Moana 2, a heartwarming story filled with themes of togetherness, courage, and hope.
Guests enjoyed complimentary popcorn, free face painting, and a special appearance
by Moana herself.
Held on the scenic grounds near the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial on the National
Mall, the Films at the Stone series brings families and communities together for
evenings of fun, connection, and outdoor entertainment. Screenings take place on the
third Friday of each month in June, July, and August.
The final film of the summer season will be shown on Friday, August 15. Get ready for
a WICKED evening of fun! Guests are encouraged to wear their best Broadway or
fantasy-inspired looks for a chance to win the costume contest. Pre-show activities
begin at 7 PM, and the movie will start at sunset.
