As part of their year-long leadership journey, Cohort IV of The Memorial Foundation’s
Social Justice Fellows Program gathered in the nation’s capital for the annual Capstone
Convening—an immersive, in-person experience designed to deepen policy
engagement and foster collective impact.

This year’s convening welcomed 36 Fellows from across the country for interactive
sessions focused on policymaking, advocacy, and collaboration. Fellows engaged with
leading policy experts and influencers, gaining insight into the legislative process and
exploring ways to advance their individual and shared goals.

On Day 2, Fellows spent the day on Capitol Hill and met with five sitting Members of
Congress to discuss public engagement and national priorities. The convening
concluded with a Capstone Spotlight session, where each Fellow presented their work
and explored opportunities for continued partnership and impact.
