The MLK Global Youth Leadership Conference Returns to Nassau, Bahamas

The Memorial Foundation returned to Nassau, Bahamas on April 18, 2026 to host the MLK Global Youth Leadership Conference for its fifth year.  In partnership with seven of our nation’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and The Bahamas Alphas Educational and Leadership Foundation, the conference served as host to more than 500 local high school students.  Through a day-long interactive learning experience, this year’s convening focused on leadership development, community engagement, and college readiness.  Continuing our commitment to transformational impact, The Memorial Foundation is pleased to share that more than $1 million dollars in scholarship awards were announced as part of this year’s conference.

Our impact would not be possible without our “Community of Collaborators” who helped to ensure the success of this event.
