Films at the Stone: Stories of Courage and Destiny

Join us for a magical evening at Films at the Stone with a special outdoor screening of Wicked on Thursday, August 15th, at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial in Washington, D.C.

Experience the untold story of the witches of Oz—a journey of friendship, courage, and discovering one’s true destiny. This inspiring tale reflects the values of justice, hope, love, and the power to stand up for what’s right.

The film begins at 8:00 PM—arrive early with a picnic, blanket, or low-profile lawn chair to enjoy an unforgettable night under the stars. Screenings take place on the lawn adjacent to the bookstore at 1964 Independence Avenue SW.
