Films at the Stone: Stories of Courage and Destiny

Experience epic journeys of heart and heroism — Despicable Me 4 on June 20th, Moana 2 on July 18th, and Wicked on August 15th.

Join us this summer for Films at the Stone, an inspiring outdoor film series held at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial in Washington, D.C. Experience powerful stories of courage, friendship, and self-discovery with screenings of Despicable Me 4, Moana 2, and Wicked. Each film highlights individuals who, against all odds, stood up for what they believed in and embraced their true path, reflecting the values of justice, hope, love, and democracy. Films begin at 8:00 PM—arrive early with a picnic, blanket, or low-profile lawn chair to enjoy a memorable evening under the stars. Screenings take place on the lawn adjacent to the bookstore at 1964 Independence Avenue SW.
